In 2024, my life took a turn that gave me the opportunity to get better acquanted with my own city and its surroundings. I must admit, I fell in love with it. There are many beautiful old monuments in Zalaegerszeg, which I have walked (or rather, rushed?) past on a daily basis until now. But a lot has changed since I used to cycle through the city streets during the summer as a teenager. Public spaces, houses, parks, statues, renovations, reconstructions … the list is endless, there is always something new. The city offers plenty of programs, as several festivals, theater, cinemas, museums, and cultural centers await visitors at all times of the year.
When I became aware of all these interesting things, and fate gave me the opportunity to change, I decided to put my experience and knowledge at the service of my place of residence in a way that would create value. I started training as a tourist guide, and my goal is to introduce as many people as possible to the values and beauties of my hometown. I want to be able to fill the few days spent with us with experiences that they will gladly share with their friends when they return home from Zalaegerszeg, which they will remember with kindness for the rest of their lives. Being a fresh grandmother and a much older dog lover, I feel the extra responsibilities that come with it.
